FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • DOUBLE has been created for two people to experience together, across a kitchen table from one another.

    VISITORS has been created for two people to experience together in their living room.

    ETERNAL is for one person, alone in their bed.

    KNOT is for one person, taking place in three different locations.

    PARADISE is for two people, taking place across a table.

  • You will need to download the app, book a ticket and enter the email address of your partner when asked. They will receive a log in to enter into the app on their phone. When the show begins you will receive further instructions.

  • You can join a show from anywhere in the world - just select the best region and timezone for you.

  • Yes - you need to be connected to the internet to experience the show. Do not put your device into airplane mode.

  • All tickets are non-refundable. If your enjoyment of the performance is in any way compromised due to the malfunctioning of the Darkfield Radio App, we will book you into an alternative show. You can find our full terms and conditions here.

  • Ensure you follow the instructions in the show details, or within the audio. They may require you to sit in a specific environment.

    If you have a slow running device, we recommend closing down other apps that your device is running that might compete with the device's memory performance.

    We recommend you turn on 'Do Not Disturb' mode so your phone doesn't receive calls or notifications during the show.

    Do not put your device into airplane mode - you need an internet connection for the show to run.

  • Shows can be done indoors in your home if it is raining - please recreate the set up of a bench or car at home, with space next to you and behind you.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  • You can try the folllowing:

    • Restart the app.

    • Check your internet connection - use wifi instead of data

    • Check all other apps are closed.

    • Restart your phone.

    • If you have an android phone, go to app settings and clear your app cache.

    • If it still doesn’t work, clear your app storage and we will give you another access code.

  • Make sure that your partner has also checked their spam/junk folder, as the email might have reached them there.

    If they haven’t received the email in their spam/junk folder, or if you think you might have entered a wrong email address, please contact us at radio@darkfield.org with your booking details (show, time, region and email addresses of the booking).

  • Make sure you have enabled notifications in your phone settings for the Darkfield Radio App.

  • Please switch to wired headphones

HOW DO I DELETE MY RADIO ACCOUNT?

You can close your account and delete your personal information via the phone app:

  1. Go to the DARKFIELD radio app.

  2. Sign into the account you want to close.

  3. Navigate to Settings

  4. Click Delete Account to close your account and delete your personal information from the app.
